The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Tin Can Island Chapter, under the leadership of Chairman Prince Olawale Mathew Cole extends warm felicitations on key developments within the Nigeria Customs Service and the Muslim community:
In a statement released by the public relations officer of the chapter, Chief Onome Monije on behalf of the Chairman, Prince Olawale Cole, ANLCA Tin Can Island Port heartily congratulates Comptroller Frank Onyeka on his well-deserved promotion to Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs (ACG).
The statement noted that during ACG Onyeka’s tenure as the Customs Area Controller at the Tin Can Island Port Command, Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Onyeka brought stability to operations, demonstrated firm leadership, championed ease of doing business, maintained zero tolerance to drugs, and ran an open-door policy. It further said that his consistent engagement with stakeholders in resolving operational challenges earned the trust of the trading community. We wish him continued success in his new assignment.
In a related event, the association also welcomes the new Customs Area Controller of the Command Joseph Anani. ANLCA says that the association has full confidence in his capacity and his strategy to deepen stakeholder engagement, dialogue, strengthening of synergy and further improve the ease of doing business at the command.
“Our expectations include faster cargo clearance and sustained professional conduct by officers”. The association noted.
Furthermore, the Chairman, Prince Olawale Mathew Cole and the entire ANLCA Tincan Island Executive also felicitate all the Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The statement says “We celebrate your sacrifice, absolute faith, and compassion. In line with the core teachings of Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience to God, we urge unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians, as echoed by religious and political leaders”. It concluded.
