The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) under the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi on Wednesday decorated the recently promoted senior officers at the Customs Headquarters in Abuja. The occasion marked a significant milestone as many deservingly promoted officers including Comptroller Frank Okechukwu Onyeka, Area Controller of Tin Can Island Port Command (TCIP) were decorated with their new ranks.
The prestigious ceremony saw a lot of the decorated officers accompanied by family, friends and well wishers, the Comptroller-General, Adewale Adeniyi commended Comptroller Onyeka for his exceptional leadership and dedication to service.
Meanwhile, the officers and men of the Tin Can Island Port Command has continued to rejoice with their helmsman on his well deserved promotion as they send hearty congratulatory messages to mark the occasion. A big delicious cake was present at the celebration as virtually everyone within the Command’s building at the time had a taste of it after the CAC had promptly cut the cake.

Observers see Comptroller Onyeka’s new rank as a testament to his hard work and commitment to the Nigeria Customs Service. He has an admirable pedigree in all the Units and Commands where he has served and his leadership so far has been seen as being instrumental in promoting the effectiveness and efficiency of the Tin Can Island Port Command.
Comptroller Onyeka is also seen as a revenue guru, his decoration is noted for his achievements and a great recognition of his contributions to the Service.
The CAC is an officer that stakeholders are excited to work with and he also serves as a real motivation to other officers, men of the Command and Service wide especially those who strive for excellence in their duties.
