The President of Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association, Comrade Chinedu Ukatu has said that the association is fully ready to host the 2025 edition of their football tournament.
The President while speaking in his office at this afternoon said “this year’s tournament is fully loaded with talented players. Our sub-committee members have taken time out of their busy schedules to put finishing touches to the planning of the event”.
His words “The Sponsor of the tournament and deputy speaker of Federal House of Representatives who is currently the Patron of Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu and other special guests are set to grace the occasion. The tournament will commence Thursday, the 11th of September 2025, at the National stadium in Lagos shortly after the opening ceremony on same day and will end on the 12th of October 2025″.
Hon. Chinedu Ukatu went further, to appeal to all the players in the tournament to utilise this opportunity to showcase their talents as lots of international players and coaches will be visiting to observe quality players and select them to represent bigger clubs and ultimately their countries”.
The event which has 24 matches at the group stage will be played at both weekends and weekdays right into the knockout stages before ending on Sunday, the 12th of October 2025.
